Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering - Final Year

This final year top-up degree programme consists of 6 modules and one project and the complete programme consists of 120 credit points. It is conducted over 2 semesters of about 6 months each. This course focus on understanding more about the specialist technologies that are at the heart of today’s advanced systems and applications. The design of high-speed analogue and digital electronics using integrated circuits, modern power transmission, conversion and control, and telecommunications aspects are all covered, along with key microprocessor topics, fuzzy logic and neural networks and digital signal processing. You will also carry out a double-module project on a topic relevant to electrical and/or electronic engineering.

Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Digital Systems and Computer Engineering - Final Year

This final year top-up degree programme consists of 6 modules and one project and the complete programme consists of 120 credit points. It is conducted over 2 semesters of about 6 months each. This course focus on understanding more about the specialist technologies that are at the heart of today’s advanced systems and applications. Mobile communication concepts and computer networks, the design of high-speed analogue and digital electronics using integrated circuits are covered, along with key microprocessor topics, fuzzy logic and neural networks and digital signal processing. You will also carry out a double-module project on a topic relevant to digital systems and/or computer engineering.

BTEC Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

The Higher National Diploma programme in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is strongly vocational and forms a solid basis in Electrical and Electronic Engineering fundamentals. This aims to produce high quality, creative technicians and engineers.


National ITE Certificate (NITEC) in Electronics (Computer & Networking)

A NITEC in Electronics (Computer & Networking) Technician performs work involving installing, testing, servicing and commissioning computer, network and other electronics equipment which include microcomputer system, network system, microprocessor-based equipment and computer peripherals.
